Casa Vasco is located in Praia da Luz, a fisherman's village in Algarve, the most southern region of Portugal. The house is part of a residential complex of private houses.

Algarve borders the Atlantic ocean. You can find just about anything here! The small typical villages, the beautiful mountains, the historical sites, the superb beaches, the breathtaking cliffs and the crystal clear waters. All kinds of water sports are available. Swimming, fishing, scuba diving and sailing are just a few of them. During your stay, you can also enjoy many other activities such as golf, tennis, squash, cycling, horse back riding and sightseeing.

Praia da Luz, is a charming and typical village, located just 6km away from Lagos. This city is renowned for its history since many Portuguese sailors would begin their journey in the "Caravelas", the ships that would set sail to discover the world. In Lagos, the downtown area is closed for car traffic and is reserved for the exclusive use of pedestrians. The old town small streets invite you to stroll along the shops, museums, historical sites, restaurants, cafes and bars. You can find an outside terrace just about every corner of the city. After enjoying a nice Portuguese meal in one of the local restaurants, you may wish to enjoy the rest of the evening in the city. The night life in Lagos will provide you with a selection of many bars were you can have lots of fun and meet different people from around the world. Most popular bars will close at 3 o'clock in the morning while the "Night Clubs" start opening at 1 o'clock and will stay open until the early hours of the morning.

From the house you can take a 10-15 minute walk to the beach of Praia da Luz or a 2-3 minute car drive. Several other beaches are only a short distance away.

The house was built on a small hill top and has a magnificent view over the ocean. The house has two floors with the front facing north and the rear side facing south, towards the ocean.

On the first floor, you'll find the living and dining rooms, the kitchen and a small toilet. From this floor you access a large balcony where you can relax and enjoy a meal while savoring the beautiful view over the ocean.

On the lower level, you'll find the master bedroom with its private bathroom. There is a second bedroom and another bathroom (shower only). Through the patio doors in the two bedrooms, it will only take you a few steps to reach a beautiful private swimming pool and terrace.

This house is for rent on a weekly basis only. Maid service is provided three times a week. Bed linen is changed once a week and towels twice (pool/beach towels are not provided).

A house management representative will be available 24 hours/day to help you and provide needed information.

A guaranty deposit will be required upon reception of the house keys and returned to you at the end of your stay, after check-up and if everything is as when you arrived. Rental prices during the months of November, December, January, February and March include heating of the house if necessary.
